Silver Award: Rights Aware
We have now achieved Bronze Award: Rights Committed and are now beginning our journey toward Silver: Rights Aware.
The RRSA ambassadors organised a poster challenge in the school newsletter this term. Having judged the challenge entries, the children have decided unanimously that, in order to celebrate children's rights, these posters will be displayed in school as well as on the school website.
In the future, our ambassadors would like to arrange more competitions and prepare assemblies to involve the whole school community! In the meantime, please enjoy the posters, created by our children, depicting articles stated within the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is the most complete statement of children’s rights ever produced and is the most widely-ratified international human rights treaty in history.
