PE & Sport Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

The ‘Sports Premium’ is allocated from the Government and it is used to support the delivery of PE and sport in primary schools. This funding is allocated directly to primary schools across England, providing them with a dedicated resource to purchase in invaluable expertise and support.

 

Funding is used in a range of ways including:

 

• Developing high-quality teaching in lessons through collaborative planning, teaching and evaluation of lessons, with support from the PE Leader
• Providing training to develop progression of skills across all year groups
• Providing enrichment opportunities
• Offering after-school clubs such as skipping, fitness, bike club
• Providing activity workshops such as circus skills
• Purchasing resources, including indoor and outdoor equipment for PE lessons and clubs
• Providing quality CPD for staff and for the PE Leader
